From Calligraphic Line Doodle to Ornate Pictorial Calligraphy

The creative use of line is taught from a classical approach, allowing elaborate designs to emerge. The lines and flourishes in our initial "doodles" form the foundation for the techniques used in ornate pictorial calligraphy. The fundamentals of design – positive and negative space, value, and composition – will be taught.
