This lecture will explore time through a series of images from artists, beginning with the Chauvet cave paintings and ending with contemporary work. Night is important, because that is where all creation begins, in the dark and unknown. These two universal themes, time and night, offer endless possibility and insight into the creative pattern that invokes the muse.
