The Society for Calligraphy,
Southern California, is a non-profit educational organization
which promotes the study, teaching and practice of calligraphy
and related disciplines. It also encourages the exchange
of ideas through speakers, program meetings, workshops,
its journal and bulletin, the annual retreat and regional
groups.

DeAnn Singh featured in the L.A. Times
Member and SfC past president DeAnn Singh was featured in a story in the L.A. times this August, as well as in the L.A. Times Books blog.
Janet's Takahashi's illustration was featured in the Sunday's (June 26) L.A. Times Comics Section in the Kids' Reading Room; the story is 'Too Tall Topsy'. Click on the picture and it will appear full as it does in the paper.
